Meet Our Team

Erica has worked in the dental field for more than 25 years and brings extensive experience in both clinical and administrative roles. She has been part of the North Aurora Smiles group for over 16 years and plays an important role in the day-to-day operations of the practice.

With more than 20 years of experience in a management role, Erica has extensive knowledge of the continuing changes in the dental field. She supports both the clinical and front desk teams to help provide patients with a comfortable and positive experience. Erica is certified in coronal polishing, pit and fissure sealants, and anesthesia and sedation monitoring. She contributes to the growth of the practice and patient engagement while helping ensure patients receive attentive, high-quality care.

Outside the office, Erica enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children.

Jackie has been in the dental field for over 23 years. Jackie started as a dental assistant where she quickly because passionate about dentistry. Her passion inspired her to further her education by becoming a Dental Hygienist in 2005. She spends a lot of her time with patients educating and encouraging them to maintain good oral health. Jackie is a native of Indiana, and now resides in Aurora with her husband and is a dedicated mom to her two sons.

Laurel obtained her dental hygiene degree from the University of Iowa. She has over 30 years of dental experience. She has a background as an adjunct dental hygiene faculty member for several colleges. She is always striving to help others grow professionally as well as personally. Laurel enjoys the time she spends with every one of her patients. She takes pride in being able to help them understand and care for their oral and overall health. She joined our practice in 2022.

Tammy is one of our RDHs at North Aurora Smiles. She earned her dental hygiene degree from Southern Illinois University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare from the University of St. Francis. With over 36 years of experience in dental hygiene, Tammy brings a deep level of knowledge and care to every patient she treats.

She enjoys attending continuing education courses and believes that the more she learns, the better care she can provide to her patients. Outside the office, Tammy loves spending time with her family, relaxing with a good book, sewing in her sewing room, and exploring new wineries.

Adrienne is a California native with over 13 years of experience in the dental field. Her passion for dentistry began while attending dental assisting school. Motivated to expand her skills and knowledge, she went on to become a dental hygienist. After relocating to Illinois in 2025, Adrienne joined the team at North Aurora Smiles.

Adrienne enjoys helping patients feel comfortable during their visits and takes pride in educating them about maintaining good oral health. Outside the office, she loves traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her dog.

Debbie has been with North Aurora Smiles for 8 years. She has over 25 years of experience as a Dental Assistant, and has received multiple certifications through continued education courses. In addition to her passion for quality patient care, Debbie is an avid animal lover. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her dogs and birds. Debbie is an active board member of two organizations that care for animals in need: Zoo’s Ferret Sanctuary and Animal Heartline Humane Association. She dedicates her time away from dentistry to these organizations. Debbie is also a very active member of her church and enjoys camping and swimming.

As a dental assistant, Blanca seeks to ensure her patients are comfortable at each appointment. Most rewarding to her is seeing a patient with a confident smile after treatment, and empowering them to take control of their dental care. Blanca thoroughly enjoys working with the team at North Aurora Smiles, and always looks forward to making her patients’ dental experiences better. Blanca has two children and loves cooking for her family. She enjoys picnics and going for walks.

Odalys has been a dental assistant for two years and has quickly become a valuable part of the team at North Aurora Smiles. She enjoys helping patients feel comfortable during their visits and takes pride in supporting them as they work toward healthier smiles. Odalys also enjoys learning about new technology and advancements in dentistry, which helps her provide even better care for patients.

Outside the office, Odalys loves attending music festivals and concerts. When she is home, she enjoys relaxing and spending time with her cat.

Marlen is one of our friendly faces at the front desk. She is a patient care coordinator and is always ready to help with questions or concerns. She joined the practice in the fall of 2020 and is enjoying all the great things she is learning from the dental field. She loves being able to help patients with their scheduling needs. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son, horseback riding and going to the gym.

Karina is the friendly face that welcomes patients to our office. She joined the team at the end of 2025 and is new to the dental field, bringing with her seven years of customer service experience. Karina enjoys meeting new patients and helping them feel comfortable and welcome from the moment they walk through the door. She also plays an important role in supporting our patient care coordinators and helping the front office run smoothly.

Outside of work, Karina enjoys traveling and baking. She also loves building Legos and runs her own small business. In her free time, you can often find her exploring new hobbies or spending time doing the things she enjoys most.

Britney is one of our patient care coordinators at North Aurora Smiles. She joined the practice in 2025 and brings a little over two years of dental experience. She enjoys helping patients understand their care and works hard to make every visit feel welcoming and positive.

Outside the office, Britney has a passion for travel and adventure. She loves skydiving and has already visited more than 14 countries. She is also currently attending Northern Illinois University and will be graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government, along with a minor in Psychology.
