Are snoring and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) stealing your peaceful, restful nights? Revolutionize your sleep and health with Vivos sleep apnea treatment in North Aurora, Illinois. At North Aurora Smiles, our doctors use this groundbreaking, non-surgical solution to address sleep apnea and snoring.
The Vivos system uses a multidisciplinary approach to address snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. Unlike CPAP machines or surgery, Vivos uses specially designed oral appliances to guide and reshape the airway over time. The Vivossystem addresses mandibular retrusion (retrognathism) and maxillary hypoplasia (underdeveloped upper jaw).
The Vivos system uses Pneumopedics®, a non-surgical technique for remodeling the upper airway without surgery or medication. Unlike standard oral appliances, the Vivos system addresses the root cause rather than just managing symptoms. The Vivos appliance guides the jaws and airway structures to develop into a healthier position, which improves airflow, reduces snoring, and decreases apneic episodes. Over time, this can lead to lasting improvements.
Vivos isn’t just about minimizing OSA-related symptoms but transforming your sleep and health. Here are the benefits of Vivos treatment in North Aurora, Illinois.
Getting Vivos treatment in North Aurora is a seamless procedure. You’ll book a consultation with your doctor to assess your symptoms and airway health. Then, our team takes digital scans of your teeth to guide the custom fabrication of your appliance. Once you get your appliance, wear it 10-12 hours daily, primarily during the evening and while sleeping. The appliance gently remodels your airway over the next 12 to 24 months, improving sleep quality and overall health.
